Terms & Conditions

The terms that apply when you buy hosting, domain registration or domain transfer services from Care4Web.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all services provided by Care4Web (“Care4Web”, “we”, “us”), MRERA-59, Madapattu Road, Chalikavattom, Vennala PO, Kochi, Kerala 682028, India, through the website care4web.in or otherwise. By placing an order or using our services, you (“you”, “the customer”) agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Refund & Cancellation Policy and our Service Delivery Policy.

1. Our services

Care4Web provides web hosting (shared, WordPress, VPS and dedicated servers), domain name registration, domain name transfer and related technical support. The features and prices of each service are described on our website or in a written quote from us.

2. Eligibility and your details

  • You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract under Indian law.
  • You must give us complete and accurate name, address, email, mobile number and (where applicable) GSTIN details, and keep them up to date. For domain names, these become the registrant (owner) details held by the domain registry. Inaccurate details can lead to the domain being suspended or cancelled by the registry.
  • You are responsible for keeping any login details, OTPs and domain authorisation (EPP) codes confidential.

3. Orders, prices and payment

  • All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR). Goods and Services Tax (GST) at the applicable rate is added at checkout: CGST + SGST for customers in Kerala, IGST for customers in other states and union territories.
  • Online payments are processed securely by our payment partner, Razorpay (UPI, debit/credit cards, net banking and wallets). Care4Web does not see or store your card, UPI PIN or bank login details.
  • An order is confirmed only after full payment has been received. We will email you an order confirmation and a GST invoice.
  • Prices may change from time to time. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay for that order. Renewals are charged at the price applicable on the renewal date.
  • If a price is displayed incorrectly because of an obvious error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

4. Domain name registration

  • Domain names are registered with the relevant registry (for example NIXI for .in domains) through accredited registrar partners, and are subject to the policies of that registry and, for generic domains such as .com, .net and .org, of ICANN.
  • A domain name shown as “available” is not reserved for you until it has been successfully registered. If someone else registers it before we complete your order, we will refund you in full.
  • You are solely responsible for making sure the domain name you choose does not infringe any trademark or other rights of any third party. Disputes are handled under the registry's dispute policy (the .IN Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (INDRP) for .in domains, or the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP) for generic domains).
  • Domains are registered for the period you choose (1 to 5 years). You are responsible for renewing your domain before it expires. We will try to send renewal reminders to your registered email, but not receiving a reminder does not extend the expiry date. Expired domains may be deleted or become available to others, and recovering a domain after expiry may involve additional registry charges.

5. Domain name transfers

  • To transfer a domain to Care4Web you must be its owner (registrant) or authorised by the owner, and provide a valid authorisation (EPP) code.
  • The domain must be unlocked at your current registrar, must not be expired, and must not have been registered or transferred in the last 60 days, as required by registry rules.
  • Transfers usually take 5 to 7 days and may require you to approve an email from your current registrar. A transfer includes a one-year extension of the domain's expiry date, where the registry allows it.
  • If a transfer cannot be completed, you will be refunded as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use our hosting, domain or email services to host, send or link to any content or activity that is unlawful in India or elsewhere, including:

  • content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property rights;
  • phishing, malware, viruses, hacking tools or attacks on other systems;
  • unsolicited bulk email (spam) or deceptive messages;
  • child sexual abuse material, obscene or defamatory content, or content that promotes violence, hatred or terrorism;
  • fraud, illegal gambling, or the sale of prohibited goods; or
  • any activity that overloads, disrupts or harms our servers or other customers.

We may remove content, suspend or terminate services that break these rules, and we cooperate with lawful requests from Indian law enforcement and government authorities, including under the Information Technology Act, 2000.

7. Your content and backups

You remain the owner of, and are responsible for, all content you place on our services. While we operate backup systems where described in your plan, you are responsible for keeping your own up-to-date copies of your website, databases and email.

8. Service availability

We work to keep our services available and secure, but we do not guarantee that services will be uninterrupted or error-free. Planned maintenance will be notified in advance where reasonably possible.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate a service, with notice where reasonably possible, if you breach these Terms, do not pay amounts due, provide false registrant details, or if required by a registry, court or government authority. You may cancel a service at any time by contacting us; refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Care4Web is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profits, business, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to a service is limited to the amount you paid us for that service in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Indemnity

You agree to compensate Care4Web for any claims, losses or costs arising from your content, your domain name, or your breach of these Terms or of any law.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date. Orders placed after the change are governed by the updated Terms.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Kochi (Ernakulam), Kerala shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or our services.
